Our vision for the children’s ministries department at The Message Church is to empower, equip, and activate children to advance the Kingdom of God. It’s our heart that they know Him, encounter Him, and adore Him. Children learn to know Him through the Word, they encounter Him through His presence, and adore Him through a life surrendered.

We convey the Word of God to the children by teaching with a systematic approach where they are able to hear it, see it, say it, and do it. We create an environment where the Holy Spirit is welcome and the children are positioned to encounter God’s presence. Worship, soaking, dancing, art, prayer, and prophecy are just some of the many ways that the Father’s love is revealed for them. Through knowing and experiencing God, the fruit of a child’s life is adoration and a life surrendered.

Little Dippers and Sonbeams (Nursery through Toddlers)
You can expect that your child will be affected by the infectious love of God. It is our mandate to go beyond taking care of just the physical needs of a child and to insure that the children’s emotional and spiritual needs are met as well. We not only protect each child physically, we protect their spirit by strengthening each child in their identity so that, “no weapon formed against them shall prosper.” Isaiah 54:17

We firmly believe in Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” During Sunday services, we “train” with God’s Word, testimonies, worship, the prophetic, and prayer. Through the training, we incorporate fun activities, hands on crafts, and inter-active lessons. During each service, your child will receive a snack and water.

Your children are cared for and loved by a consistent staff.  For nursing mothers, we have a nursing area.

Elementary Program (1st through 5th Grades)
At The Message, your child will not only be taught about God, His love, His word, and His power, but will also have opportunities to encounter Him every week.

We are passionate about a generation arising that will both encounter God and experience His works, Judges 2:10-11 “That they may do right in His sight and serve Him their entire life.” We believe in training the children in the way they should go, as well as the things they can do as a child of God. We are aware that what takes place in the classroom will alter and determine what all ministry on earth will look like twenty years from now.

The core value we want to instill in children is that the presence of God is their first priority. For this, we invest a considerable amount of time each week in worship. Through sharing and hearing testimonies, the children also learn to pay attention to what God is doing around them all the time. Through the training, we also incorporate fun activities, hands-on crafts, and inter-active lessons.
